Monumental event this weekend – the taking of my sister’s engagement photos. It’s hard for me to believe that she is going to be getting married soon. I can still remember feeding her as a little kid.
But kids grow up and my sister is no exception. I’m just happy that she’s found such a great guy. And you can see how happy she is when you look at these pictures.

I love how he looks at her… so sweet.

Of course she’s gorgeous, even if I am a little biased.

We took these shots on a tree-lined street filled with row houses and historical homes. It’s part of Old Towne Alexandria, located in Northern Virginia. Old Towne has lots of great restaurants, quaint shops and tons of character.

I love the shadows in these two shots…

Smiling pretty…

Such a cute couple, aren’t they?

Not only is he cute, but he’s strong too!

And photogenic

Aww…

Tracy and her pink shoes.

Another great thing about Old Towne – the nearby waterfront. The only problem was the bright sun. But it was still a perfect day for taking pictures.

Gotta get some action shots too.

I think this one is my favorite:

So that was my Sunday afternoon. I got to take pictures of my adorable sister and soon-to-be brother-in-law. It doesn’t get much better than that.
