Thanks for the birthday wishes - hope you're doing well over there. Sounds like you're doing well especially with being almost done with your Ph.D., very impressive. And congrats on having such a great outlook too. It's amazing how it changes and morphs as we get older, isn't it? This birthday, for example, wasn't as hard as some others I've had. But at 42 I'm in better shape, I feel younger, know I'm smarter, and have an incredibly better outlook on life as I'm 2 years into a new marriage, almost done with my Ph.D., and have no idea where I'm going to be in 2 years when my husband retires from the military. And I'm totally cool with that! Make the effort to keep as healthy as possible (drink lots of water and get good exercise!) but also feed your mental health (more sunny fall days!) and you'll be fine. I can't advise on the child side of things, but I'm sure you'll make the right decision for the two of you. I wish you so many more wonderful birthdays! Happy Birthday!

I don’t want 37 again.
