Hi Carrie – I think that’s a great idea! My sister did that a couple of years ago but I don’t know if the cut was free or not. You’re definitely saving lots of money though and growing it for a good cause!

I haven’t had a cut in nearly 2 years, and my hair is to my waist. I color it myself (only because of those awful grays). I’m lucky enough to look ok with 70′s hair.

I figure I save at least $500/year.

Sometime soon, when they’re having free haircuts for hair donations, I’ll get one. Until then, I’m all ponytails, all the time.

Wow… $225?! I live in So Cal and have my hair done in Orange County for $135.00 (cut, color & hi-lites) + tip. I think my hairdresser is FABULOUS! She’s the only stylist that doesn’t nag me to cut my hair short/shoulder length. Love the pics that you’ve included in your blog

I haven’t been inside a salon for over 2 years. I cut my own hair (and maybe it shows) & now that gray is an issue, I buy the dye for $9.00 & do it myself. But your hair looks gorgeous, Tabitha!!

Wow – even for me that seems like a lot but the results are worth it – you always look amazing. Maybe that’s what I need to do, upgrade from Fanastic Sams $15.00 and my hair would look SO much better? What do you think?

Great photo’s of all the styles and gotta admit I do like one of your models in particular – besides you of course!!
