Very informative post and I’m sure it will help a lot of would-be bloggers out there get started. Thanks for sharing.
I wonder too how much some of the more popular bloggers make from their sites. Of course, some have so many ads that it turns me off and I leave quickly because they’re too distracting.

Wow I linked here for the first time today from decor8 and I’m so glad I did. I’ve been wanting to blog for the longest and it’s weird cause I keep getting story ideas and no place to share them. I’m thinking wordpress, use a free template for a while, and stay in the free zone for as long as I can. I keep thinking I’m missing something though surely something is going to have a charge, but when I get as far as I’ve gotten on wordpress to sign up it all seems free.

As I sell on ebay already and much of my thing is vintage fashions and home I want the whole package. I hope to someday make some residual off my website.

This site is gorgeous and makes me feel very peaceful. I went to Pioneer Woman to check it out and OMG her skin is absolutely fascinating seriously I don’t remember anything but her skin. So now that i really sound like a weirdo thanks for the info.
