It’s been two whole years since we said our “I do’s” and agreed to spend our lives together.
I honestly don’t know where the time has gone. It has been simply amazing. Yes, I know that marriage is hard work, but it doesn’t really feel like it’s been hard. There have been times of compromise of course, and less than exciting tasks such as chores and grocery shopping. But when you’re with someone whom you actually enjoy, those tasks don’t seem that mundane.
Then there are all of the fun things – the traveling and the date nights and the special moments that we’ve shared. They all add up to equal the best two years of my life and I look forward to many more.
So thank you, sweetie, for marrying me and for being with me. Happy Anniversary.
Congratulations on 2 years…I think the first couple years are the hardest. We’re coming up on 5 in December. Of course, I have no idea what happens when you have kids!
