Yay for baby boy shopping trips… you picked out some great finds!! I LOVE that elephant, adorable. And we’re getting the peepee teepees too!! We found them before when we had our daughter and didn’t need them (obviously) and are planning on having them around for this one!! Haha, so many fun things!!

A BOY! How exciting! I loved dressing my little boys in little man suits!! I really enjoy having boys – I hope you’ll find it too – they just seem to gravitate towards Mom. My little Momma’s boys. The girls always gravitated more towards Dad, which is good too.

Enjoy picking out the clothes and fun toys!
And start saving now for all the future Lego purchases… That stuff just does NOT go on sale…

And forget the peepee teepee – just learn to change ‘em fast. Those things just always fell off while they wiggled anyhow.

The dog book was a good buy. Your Paul Newman baby will no doubt fall in love with pugs and when he turns about five years old, you’ll be forced to get him one.

Ben was really the only child I got to shop for before he was born. When I found out he was coming, the first thing I did was head up to Marshalls and buy this brown and white silk minky blanket for him. Then up to Target to grab cowboy (I am from Texas so it was fitting) infant gowns I had seen while shopping for a friends babyshower. I was so excited to get to shop for my own baby. I also took an infant hat to an embroidery place to have the name we decided on embroidered on the hat.

I saw you took a picture of Robeeze shoes. I LOVE these shoes and they are wonderful because kids can’t kick them off. Target and Toys R Us have knock off versions but I found the leather to scuff faster with the knock offs. Since you went to a boutique I am sure they had Feltman Brothers clothing. Simply adorable and I bought every bubble suit and bobby suit I could afford. They are awesome for Easter. -kriss

I must agree with Joy on the cloth diapers used as burp cloths. They were a lifesaver. The small cute ones do nothing. I usually try to give those as shower gifts because I loved using them that much.

Pee Pee Tee pee is cute but like a lotta things not needed. I used a simple daiper wipe if I was worried about getting peed on (or 20 mo only peed on me a handful of times- in the newborn stage only..) so this worked.
FOr hospital bag I got tons of onesies and 2 cute going home outfits. You will def bring more than you need for that.
Best thing ever? SLEEPING GOWNS! They make them for boys. When you change a newborn in the wee hours it is nice to have easy access to diapers and just so smart. And they look sweet too like Sweepea’s outfit in Popeye!
