Such a sweet post - I'm SO happy you're enjoying this special phase of your pregnancy....there's nothing else like it. Treasure these times between you and your little guy. You're right too in that the two of you are bonding now in a very special way, you've taken him into your heart completely and your feeling of love will just grow and grow just as he is growing physically. Heavenly Father gives you this time to learn to love him so strongly during your pregnancy in preparation for a life time of loving him through every day of his life. There is NOTHING like a Mother's love and I'm thrilled you are feeling him more and more each day.

I well remember your movement and let me tell you - you loved to stretch!!! I know the CPA is looking forward to feeling him when he gets to kicking.....

isn't it wonderful? And liberals want to say that there is no baby in there, it's just a blob! Come on! I am 20 something weeks pregnant, my 4th one and the baby girl is thumping away. Mostly when I am sitting watching Tv, scrapping or on the computer. It's such a joy!! Wait until she is a bit bigger and she begins kicking my ribs!! LOL

So since I left my note on the 7th, I have been feeling kicks and movement like crazy. And, Ben was able to feel her kick this morning. I thought it would be a long time before that would happen, but I was way wrong! :)

I don't specifically recall the first time - but I do remember one incident when my husband and I were in bed next to each other, I on my side facing him, and out of nowhere a fist - clear as day - popped up. My husband was completely mortified, saying it was like something out of "Alien", but once he calmed down, we reveled in how amazing it truly is to not just know you are pregnant, but to feel/experience it. He still brings that up.
Enjoy every moment.

I remember exactly where I was and what I was doing the first time I felt my daughter move. I was 21 weeks along and had felt nothing to that point. Then all of a sudden I felt a thump from inside... it was as if someone had flicked me with a finger. Incredible. I started feeling flutterings with my son around 13 weeks, but I was able to recognize the sensation with him much better. I loved being pregnant... mostly. :-)

I felt our little girl move on Monday for the first time. It felt like something kinda slid down on the inside of my belly. I haven't felt anything since then, but I know that's what it was! I have NEVER felt anything like that before in my life. Ben can't wait to be able to feel it, but I have a feeling it will be a while before that happens.

What a special post.

I just offered this info to someone else, and it occurred to me that you may be registering for baby stuff soon as well (if you haven't already). Here is a great website that explains which toys are safe and which are unsafe for baby's motor development- and most importantly, why they are unsafe. Many of the toys that look like they would help a baby's motor skills will actually hinder their development, so it's a great resource for soon-to-be and new parents.
Enjoy,
Heather
