I am happy everything went OK for both of you (and Mr CPA who did not get a good night either). There will come a time when you’ll be ready. Not because you would have checked all the items on your ‘to do list’ but because you’ll be SO pregnant that you would not find it fun to have to wait yet another day or two until he makes up his mind! But when comes that day, no matter what you tell your baby, you won’t have control on anything and that will sound funny (or crazy!). That’s the beauty of natural birth (I had a planned C-section for my second child and I missed not having this feeling of “no control” that I had for my first one). Enjoy!

My mom delivered my twin brother and I at 29 weeks. Not fun. They had to give her a lung surfactant shot so our lungs wouuld develop faster. I’m SO glad that didn’t happen to you.

One of my younger brothers was born at 25 1/2 weeks. I have passed that point in my pregnancy and can now breathe a little easier. Thank the Lord!

Reading you and from my point of view I realise that you’re more ready than you think. It seems to me that you keep in mind all that you we’ll need and all that things are under control despite there are some things that need to be done.

I’m happy it was all a false alarm and you and your baby are OK.

By the way, we also have to wait long hours when we go to hospitals in Spain

Bless your heart. That is always scary. I don’t think we can totally be prepared, I mean you can buy every thing that you need, but like my daughter, she had no idea how tired she and her husband would be. But once you have that little one in your arms, all will be well. I am happy for you!
