I love your blog, I’ve read it since the beginning. I’m so happy for you and the CPA having your first baby. The joy about all the preparations and even the bad stuff (like nausea and pain down south) you have been kind enough to share with all of us.

So I’m going to be the lone voice in the wilderness and say this with as much kindness as I can muster: I do not care for the nursery room pain colors. It would not have been my choice (strange, I’m not you! LOL); it looks like preparation for a study. I like bright colors for children whose little minds are like sponges.

If I’ve offended, I’m sorry. Again, it’s your nursery and your baby, you get to choose. I just couldn’t keep my thoughts inside any longer.

The room looks great – love the colors you chose. Can’t wait to see the room complete with his bed, rug and wall hangings. You’ve chosen some great furniture for your little guy. Time is fast approaching and the COP and I are SO excited. I’ll be coming up in just days to be there for his arrival and to help the three of you. YEA!!! This Nana is so anxious to see him in his special room that turned out beautiful.

Ooooh I love the two tones and the chair rail. Very sophisticated! Your dad did a lovely job too. Please let him know that he is welcome to come paint at my house next time we need painting done. We are not very good painters… Brian left a couple roller marks on Hannah’s ceiling.
