Monthly Archives: October 2011 I survived. I turned 40 and I am still here. It was rough going for a little bit there, but I made it through the day without any major emotional scars. Wrinkles, maybe, but scars – no. I don’t know why the day was so tough for me, it really shouldn’t have been, but it... Okay, maybe that’s just wishful thinking. But it does feel as if people who are 40 are getting younger and younger. At least that’s what I keep telling myself, especially since I’m turning 40 today. I’ve been trying to write this post since last night but can’t seem to get my thoughts down on “paper.”...  I admit it, I’m a techie. Not to be confused with a Trekie, of course. A techie. Meaning that I love technology. Probably a little too much sometimes. But I love me some good gadgets – what’s wrong with making life a bit easier?
