My name is Tabitha and I created this blog as a way to keep a journal about my life. It includes some of my past experiences (just so that I don’t forget them) as well as current ones (just to keep me sane).  It is about my move from the east coast to the west and back again, where I now live in our nation’s capitol.  It’s also about how I recently closed one chapter of my life to begin a new one. One that includes my husband, the CPA, our new son Henry, our dog, Oscar, and our cat, Sophie.

I usually write about things that I’m interested in such as learning to cook, local sites here in DC, and of course, taking pictures.  I also try to tell stories about some of the big events in our lives such as getting engaged, getting married, and trying to get pregnant, and learning how to be a parent .  My goal is to chronicle these various chapters with the idea that one day I can share them with child (children).  And there will be lots of photos because I believe that photos tell a story all by themselves.
